#2. 1st floor bedroom window H 22" W 25"
#3. 2nd floor bedroom window H 21" W 25"
Both of these windows have an opening greater than code and allow egress. Replacing them will cause undue hardship and security risks.
Dryer exhaust vent had been updated with solid metal ductwork. If permit is demanded, dryer will be removed.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of James Becker to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 701/703 SHERWOOD AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 2-inch variance on the openable height of the egress window in the first floor southeast bedroom and a 3-inch variance on the openable height of the egress window in the 2nd floor bedroom; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
