Ratifying the assessment for the City’s cost of providing Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2026. (File No. CG26Q1B3, Assessment No. 260153)

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 26-1031 accepted the Report of Completion for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2026; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has considered objections of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to their assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on September 16, 2026 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; and
WHEREAS, the assessment amount for each property will be payable in a term of 1 year, with the property taxes in 2027; unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments:
RLH TA 26-182: 692 Arlington Avenue East;
RLH TA 26-171: 1931 Hawthorne Avenue East;
RLH TA 26-172: 940 Idaho Avenue East;
RLH TA 26-176: 1993 Sherburne Avenue;
RLH TA 26-XXX: 1101 Hoyt Avenue West - to refer to September 22, 2026 Legislative Hearing;
RLH TA 26-XXX: 1431 Arundel Street; to refer to September 22, 2026 Legislative Hearing; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 443.29 and Admin. Code § 60.03, the assessment is hereby in all respects ratified.
