Designating the City's official newspaper for 2020.

Whereas, Minn. Stat. §412.831 requires the City Council to designate a legal newspaper of general circulation in the city as its official newspaper at the first meeting of the year; and
Whereas, the City of Saint Paul has designated the Saint Paul Legal Ledger from the Secretary of State's list of qualified legal newspapers now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, the Saint Paul Legal Ledger shall be the official newspaper to publish the City’s official proceedings including, but not limited to:
1. Legal Publications and Advertisements or Description of Advertisements
2. City Council Meeting Minutes, Agendas and Ordinances
3. Public Hearing Notices
4. Special Legal Publications & Advertisements or Description of Advertisements; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota Statute Section 331A.12, the City of Saint Paul City Council designates advertisements for bids and proposals, and any other legal publication for public procurement solicitations, may be published on the City of Saint Paul website, https://www.stpaul.gov/publicadnotices, in addition to or in place of any other required form of publication.
