Honoring Saint Paul Veterans on Veterans Day, November 11th, 2025.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council recognizes with deep respect the veterans and military personnel who exemplify a legacy of service, dedication, and commitment to protecting our shared rights and freedoms, and
WHEREAS, Veterans Day provides an opportunity to honor all who have served in the uniformed services, recognizing the diversity of their experiences and the dedication with which they have served our nation and communities, and
WHEREAS, City of Saint Paul recognizes the ongoing work to ensure the inclusion and acceptance of our military personnel and veterans as part of an equitable City vision that also embodies the shared ideals of liberty and justice for all, and
WHEREAS, we pause to thank those who choose to serve in the uniformed services today and to those who have served in the past, we honor you today and every day, and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has veteran, military personnel, employees and family members who continue to serve our Nation with honor and distinction amid risks and sacrifices made each day, and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul established the Veteran and Military Employee Resource Network (V-ERN) to recognize and support the incredible contributions of our veterans and military personnel, and
WHEREAS, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of all who have served, whose commitment has strengthened our nation, our communities, and the cause of peace around the world, and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul appreciates the families, friends, agencies, and employers who support our veterans and military employees throughout this great city,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Saint Paul City Council publicly honors all veterans and military personnel for their dedication, sacrifice, and service on Veterans Day, November 11th, 2025.
