Authorizing the City to enter into Asset Disposal Sale Agreements with SOO Line Railroad Company (which include an indemnification clause) to procure shipping containers for use by the Saint Paul Fire Department.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Department wishes to procure shipping containers for training purposes; and
WHEREAS, SOO Line Railroad Company has offered to provide the Department with shipping containers as part of their asset disposal program pursuant to an Asset Disposal Sale Agreement (a form of which is attached hereto); and
WHEREAS, said agreement contains an indemnification clause, which the City Council finds reasonable and appropriate; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby approves the City entering into Asset Disposal Sale Agreements with SOO Line Railroad Company, which include indemnification; and, be it further
RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are authorized and directed to execute and enter into Asset Disposal Sale Agreements and any necessary related documents.
