Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $2,717.46 for a contribution received from the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education (MBFTE) for a training exercise for the Fire Department.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department will be reimbursed by the Minnesota Board of Firefighter Training and Education (MBFTE) for hazardous materials training on April 19, 2017; and
WHEREAS the total cost of the training is $2,717.46; and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this contribution will be used to pay for training for firefighters; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the reimbursement; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriations funds of $2,717.46 in excess of those estimated in the 2017 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the following additions be made to the 2017 budget:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council approves the changes to the 2017 budget.
