Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to enter into an agreement with Tri-State Bobcat for the use of a tractor/loader valued at $6,000, for field and grounds maintenance at Midway Stadium, as a trade for the City providing advertising space at Midway Stadium.

WHEREAS, TRI-STATE BOBCAT, INC., a construction equipment distributer, whishes to exchange the use of a MELROE TOOLCAT, 5600 Turbo Work Machine tractor/loader by Saint Paul Parks and Recreation for advertising space at the Midway Stadium: and;
WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation is in need of such a tractor/loader, and the value of its use is equal in value to the cost to Tri-State Bobcat of advertising space at Midway Stadium; and
WHEREAS, parties wish to enter into the advertising sponsorship agreement attached hereto; now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes the appropriate city officials to enter into the attached agreement to allow Tri-State Bobcat to exchange the use of a tractor/loader for the rental of advertising space.
