Amending the STAR budget to include a one-time transfer in, in the amount of $400,000, from the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) Enterprise Fund for the Commercial Corridors program, Citywide.
Body
WHEREAS, the 2026 HRA Adopted Budget includes a one-time transfer out of the HRA Enterprise Fund in the amount of $400,000 for the Commercial Corridors program; and
WHEREAS, the 2026 City of Saint Paul Adopted Budget did not include a corresponding transfer into the STAR budget; and
WHEREAS, the 2026 City of Saint Paul Adopted Budget needs to be amended to show the corresponding transfer of $400,000 into the STAR budget for the Commercial Corridors program; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Saint Paul City Charter, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $400,000 in excess of those estimated in the STAR budget; and now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor that $400,000 is available for appropriation in the 2026 STAR budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, the City Council hereby authorizes and approves the amendment of the STAR budget as specified in the attached financial analysis.
