Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to reallocate $2,982,560 within its various accounting units in the 2025 adopted budget to most accurately reflect the projected actual spending in each accounting unit and provide the appropriate levels of spending authority.

Body

Administrative Order, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in section 10.07.4 of the City Charter and based on the request of the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation to amend the 2025 budget for the reallocation of funds within existing budgets.  This is an attempt to have each individual accounting unit budget most accurately reflect the anticipated spending actuals at a detailed level, which will also allow for the availability of sufficient spending authority within these accounting unit budgets.  Parks and Recreation wishes to reallocate a total of $2,982,560 in the accounting unit budgets listed.  The Director of the Office of Financial Services is authorized to amend said budget in the particulars as indicated in the attached financial analysis.
