Appeal of Neil Dieterich to a Summary Abatement Order at 2171 KNAPP STREET.
Purpose of Appeal
1. The walk is not blocked for the most part as alleged in the report and does not constitute a nuisance. Cutting of bushes was commenced on July 3 and in progress when the inspector issued the order.
2. The brush pile on the property is maintained as necessary to maintain the walk, is removed once yearly, and does not constitute a nuisance.
3. The obstruction has been removed, no longer constitutes a nuisance, and this appeal is filed because the city ordinance does not allow for a post abatement review.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Neil Dieterich to a Summary Abatement Order at 2171 KNAPP STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council [recommendation]; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
