Approving the application for change of ownership to the Gas Station, Tobacco Shop and Malt Off Sale license now held by Dale Inc. d/b/a Kitty’s Corner 3 (License ID #20230001816) for the premises located at 626 Larpenteur Avenue West.

WHEREAS, Dale Inc. d/b/a Kitty’s Corner 3 (License ID# 20230001816) applied for a change of ownership to the Gas Station, Tobacco Shop and Malt Off Sale license on September 28, 2023, for the premises located 626 Larpenteur Avenue West in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the license application notification was sent out by the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI) on January 2, 2024, with a response date of January 17, 2024; and
WHEREAS, no responses to the notification were received; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order and there are no grounds to deny approval of the license; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, the change of ownership for the Gas Station, Tobacco Shop and Malt Off Sale license is hereby approved and issued to Dale Inc. d/b/a Kitty’s Corner 3 (License ID #20230001816) for the premises located at 626 Larpenteur Avenue West in Saint Paul with the following existing license conditions but with no new license conditions:
1. Licensee agrees not engage in the business of cashing checks, drafts, money orders, or travelers’ checks for a few at this location unless prior written approval is obtained from the Department of Safety and Inspections and any other necessary governmental agencie(s).
2. The licensee shall pick up trash, litter, and empty bottles and/or cans in the immediate vicinity of the licensed business, whether on public or private property, at least on a daily basis.
