Honoring the recipients of the 2025 Saint Paul Business Awards.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has a prosperous, engaged, and thriving business community that is one of our City’s most valuable resources; and

 

WHEREAS, Saint Paul businesses provide jobs and services to residents and a solid foundation for our City’s growth and prosperity; and

 

WHEREAS, these businesses deserve not only the City’s support but recognition for their many contributions to our community; and

 

WHEREAS, as part of the City’s efforts to recognize the outstanding businesses that call Saint Paul home, the City initiated the Saint Paul Business Awards in 2017 to honor local businesses that provide critical services, contribute to our community, invest in their employees, and are committed to our values of equity and diversity; and

 

WHEREAS, of the more than 68 nominations from the general public, 39 businesses were eligible to be considered for recognition; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Saint Paul City Council, that we do hereby grant the 2025 Saint Paul Business Awards, on this 25th day of November in the year two thousand twenty-five to:

 

                     Italian Pie Shoppe, 1670 Grand Ave (Ward 3) - Traditions Award - Honoring a business that has been active in Saint Paul for at least twenty years;

                     Life Juices, 450 Lexington Parkway N (Ward 1) - People’s Choice Award - Recognizing a business celebrated by Saint Paul residents for its excellence;

                     Lost Fox, 213 E 4th St, Suite 100 (Ward 2) - New Kid on the Block Award - Honoring a business that has opened in Saint Paul within the last five years;

                     Minnesota CarePartner DBA Roots Wellness Center, 1916 University Ave W (Ward 4) - Good Neighbor Award - Honoring a business that has demonstrated dedication to improving the community; and

                     Vikings and Goddess Pie, 2036 Marshall Avenue (Ward 4) - Alice O'Brien Award - Honoring a woman-owned business committed to equity and empowerment.
