Approving the Memorandum of Agreement between the City and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 70, for the purpose of correcting pay upon promotion regarding the addition of new steps in the salary schedule of the 2023-2025 Labor Agreement.

Whereas, the last Labor Agreement and Memorandums of Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 70, which was approved by Saint Paul City Council on July 19, 2023, continues in full force and effect through December 31,2025, and thereafter until modified or amended by mutual agreement of the parties; and
Whereas, the City of Saint Paul and International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 70, reached a tentative agreement on a new Memorandum of Agreement that, once approved, shall be effective upon adoption by the City Council and shall continue in full force and effect through December 31, 2025; now therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Saint Paul City Council, pursuant to the Saint Paul City Council Section 6.03.3 (5), hereby approves and ratifies the attached Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 70.
