Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital Budget to add Saint Paul Sewer Utility, Saint Paul Regional Water Services and Ramsey County funding into the 2018 Saint Paul Streets Projects.

 

Body

WHEREAS, there is a need to add $1,117,951 of Saint Paul Sewer Utility funding, $1,485,077 of Saint Paul Regional Water Utility funding, and $170,154 of Ramsey County funding into the 2018 Saint Paul Streets Projects; and 

 

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is recommending the following changes to the financing and spending on these projects:

 

                     -   Adding $413,979 of Sewer funding and $68,920 of Water funding to the Woodlawn/Jefferson Phase I Project.

 

                     -  Adding $380,299 of Sewer funding and $669,831 of Water funding to the Como Avenue - Commonwealth to Brompton Project.

 

                     -   Adding $323,673 of Sewer funding and $746,326 of Water funding to the Wheelock - Danforth to Western Project.

 

                     -  Adding $170,154 of Ramsey County funding to the Woodlawn/Jefferson Phase I Project to cover the County's cost share of the traffic calming work on Edgcumbe that is being constructed under this project.

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation funds of $2,773,182; and

 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $2,773,182 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
