Approving Ordinance Permit 20210011003 for Storm Sewer Infrastructure by Presbyterian Homes and Services
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Department of Public Works may grant authority and permission for construction of streets and sewers via an Ordinance Permit as per Legislative Code Chapter 122 and 123; and
WHEREAS, Presbyterian Homes and Services (PHS) is the owner of Lot 1, Block 6 and 7 of the Highland Bridge Development; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Companies is the contractor performing the work; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to construct storm sewer to the properties on Lot 1, Block 6 and 7; and
WHEREAS, on April 19, 2021, PHS submitted appropriate Plans, Specifications, Reports, and Documents to the City for review; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Department of Public Works reviewed said Plans, Specifications, Reports, and Documents and determined them to be in compliance with all applicable Codes, Standards, and Policies; and
WHEREAS, on April 28, 2021, an Ordinance Permit was issued by the City of Saint Paul to PHS for the purpose of completing the storm sewer improvements; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Companies has completed their infrastructure installation for the storm sewer improvements and satisfied applicable requirements of the Ordinance Permit with the exception of warranty work which may occur at a later date; now, therefore, be it
RESOVLED that the City Council accepts the infrastructure as so defined in Exhibit A and that warranty period and associated maintenance obligations shall begin upon City acceptance.
