Amending the financing and spending budgets in the Department of Public Works by transferring $1,608,000 of MSA financing from the White Bear Avenue East 7th Turn Lane project into MSA Contingency and identifying a lapse of appropriation of Ramsey County funding in the amount of $155,000. (Public hearing held December 7)

WHEREAS, the White Bear Avenue East 7th Turn Lane Project has been postponed by Ramsey County and the current project can be closed out by resolving the financing and spending, and
WHEREAS, there is an available MSA balance of $1,608,000 within this project that the Department of Public Works proposes to transfer into MSA Contingency, and
WHEREAS, there is $155,000 of Ramsey County funding that needs to be identified as a lapse of appropriation, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for transfer of appropriation funds of $1,608,000 in the Capital Improvement Budgets, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.9 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are lapsed appropriations of $155,000 in the Capital Improvement Budgets, and now
WHEREAS, $350,000 will be put into contingency for West Phalen Boulevard intersection by the Hmong Village, and for decorative railinging on White Bear Avenue Bridge; now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that there is $1,608,000 available for transfer of appropriation and $155,000 lapsed appropriations in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
