Authorizing the Police Department to accept a donation from the City of Maplewood for noise mitigation at the outdoor range and to amend the 2015 budget for this donation.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Maplewood, City Council approved the donation of $10,000 to the City of Saint Paul, Police Department for their outdoor target range; and

WHEREAS, the City of Maplewood approved this donation to be spent for noise mitigation on the eastern wall of the target range; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts this generous donation, approves these changes to the grant budget and extends its sincere thanks to the City of Maplewood.
