Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) for traffic signal system interconnect construction on Trunk Highway 61 from Burns Avenue to Third Street.
Body
WHEREAS, the City performed traffic control signal system interconnect construction and other associated construction upon, along, and adjacent to Trunk Highway 61 from Burns Avenue to Third Street with City forces; and
WHEREAS, MnDOT is willing to participate in the costs of said construction as outlined in this agreement; and
WHEREAS, this agreement contains an indemnification clause in favor of MnDOT, which the Council finds reasonable and appropriate; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into MnDOT Agreement No.1057072 with the State of Minnesota, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and, be it finally
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
