Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  House received CCI sign off w/corrections back in 2020 but those corrections were never made. PO, Chuck Bastel, who was moved to assisted living back in Oct 22 so house has been sitting vacant for almost 8 months. See photos. Chronic problem property for 20 years. ~MD

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Macy Anderson o/b/o Charles Bastel to a Vacant Building Registration Requirement at 1372 VICTORIA STREET NORTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee until August 12, 2022; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
