Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $202.88 for the donation from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation to support the Fire Explorers program.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department has received a donation of $202.88 from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation to be used to support the Fire Explorers program; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Explorers is open to individuals from the age of 14-20 years old who have an interest in learning more about careers in fire suppression or emergency services; and
WHEREAS, the donation total is $202.88; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $202.88 in excess of those estimated in the 2026 budget; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council that $202.88 is available for appropriation in the 2026 budget, and heretofore adopted by the City Council, is hereby amended as outline in the attached financial analysis and the Council thanks the Saint Paul Fire Foundation for their generous gift.
