Approving Ordinance Permit 20220010211 for Sidewalk and Bike Trail Infrastructure Installed by Ryan Companies, Inc.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Department of Public Works may grant authority and permission for construction of streets and sewers via an Ordinance Permit as per Legislative Code Chapter 122 and 123; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Companies, Inc. is the contractor performing the work; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to construct sidewalks and bike trails to the properties at Park B; and
WHEREAS, on August 5, 2022 Ryan Companies, Inc. submitted appropriate plans, specifications, reports, and documents to the city for review; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Department of Public Works reviewed said plans, specifications, reports, and documents and determined them to be in compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and policies; and
WHEREAS, on August 6, 2022 an Ordinance Permit was issued by the City of Saint Paul to Ryan Companies for the purpose of completing the sidewalk and bike trail improvements; and
WHEREAS, Ryan Companies, Inc. has completed their infrastructure installation for the sidewalk and bike trail improvements and satisfied applicable requirements of the Ordinance Permit with the exception of warranty work that may occur at a later date; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the City Council accepts the infrastructure as so defined in the attached Exhibit A and that warranty period and associated maintenance obligations shall begin upon City acceptance.
