WHEREAS, in the matter of Erin Metz Verdeja to a Summary Abatement Order at 1518 Selby Avenue, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation is forthcoming 1) grant plant height variance on Saratoga side of property, as specified in attachment i) variance of 10" allowing plant height of 28" within 30' of intersection; ii) variance of 6", allowing plant height of 42" beyond 30' from the intersection to 2' from driveway, where plant height shall not exceed 18";  iii) grant variance of 16" allowing plant height of 34" high 3 feet surrounding stop sign between May 1 and June 30th, on condition plants are trimmed (below 28") after blooming ceases and 2) deny planting height variance appeal on Selby side of property. Plantings on Selby not to exceed 18" within 30' of intersection. Deadline for compliance is October 30, 2026; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
