Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept $2,900 from the Duluth & Case Recreation Center Booster Club, a non-profit organization, to provide financial support for community events and youth sports programming at the Duluth & Case Recreation Center.

WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting permission to accept $2,900 from the Duluth & Case Booster Club to provide financial support for community events and youth sports programming at Duluth & Case Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, the financial donation, if accepted, will provide financial support for community events and youth sports programming at Duluth & Case Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, there is no required match of these funds by the City; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council finds that the acceptance of $2,900 in financial support for community events and youth sports programming at Duluth & Case Recreation Center has a public purpose; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul authorizes the Parks and Recreation
Department to accept said donation and thanks the Duluth & Case Booster Club for their generous donation.
