Pertaining to 2023 Administrative Order No. 2 for the transfer of funds for the purpose of fully funding the Enterprise Asset Management System Implementation.
Body
WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul (“Board”) adopted its 2023 budget in September 2022; and
WHEREAS, at its March 14, 2023 meeting, the Board approved a Professional Services Agreement for the implementation of a new Enterprise Asset Management System to be used by Saint Paul Regional Water Services and the City of Saint Paul Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, at the same meeting the Board approved a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Saint Paul defining how the costs of the Professional Services Agreement would be divided;
WHEREAS, Board staff has identified funding from account 8-69082140-63160 that could be diverted to account 8-69082910-76805 for the above purpose; and
WHEREAS, 2023 Administrative Order No. 2 will result in no increase or decrease to the 2023 adopted spending budget; now, therefore, via
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in Section 10.07.4 of the City Charter and on request of the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul to amend the 2023 budget of the Water Utility Fund, the Office of Financial Services is authorized to amend said budget in the manner as specified in the attached financial analysis.
