Accepting the gift of travel expenses from the Minnesota Bonsai Society for Reva Kos to attend the Bonsai Master Training by Michael Hagedorn in Milwaukie, Oregon from July 18-20th, 2024.

WHEREAS, the Minnesota Bonsai Society regular volunteers at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory; and
WHEREAS Reva Kos, the Bonsai Curator, has been invited to learn from the bonsai master; and
WHEREAS the Minnesota Bonsai Society has offered to cover up to $2000 for registration, travel, and lodging; and
WHEREAS the City Council of St Paul finds that attendance at this conference is beneficial to the City by providing an opportunity for participants to engage in developing expertise, obtaining specialized knowledge and development of a professional network; now , therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accept the gift registration, and lodging for Reva Kos to attend Bonsai Master Training by Michael Hagedorn in Milwaukie, Oregon from July 18-21, 2024.
