Approving and authorizing acceptance of the Metropolitan Council Local Housing Incentives Account Grants, and amending the 2017 Budget.
Body
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has awarded two grants to the City of Saint Paul under the Local Housing Incentives Account to the following affordable housing projects:
• $100,000 for Model Cities Supportive Housing;
• $400,000 for Como by the Lake; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does hereby certify that $500,000 in funds are available for appropriation in excess of those estimated in the 2017 budget and recommends the changes to the 2017 budget identified on the attached Budget Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Saint Paul accepts these grants and approves the changes identified on the attached Budget Amendment to the 2016 budget.
