Authorizing the City to enter into Subordinate Funding Agreement (SFA) #8 to the Master Funding Agreement with the Metropolitan Council for the Gold Line Bus Rapid Transit Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council and the City (Parties) entered into Master Funding Agreement Number 19I056 for the Gold Line BRT Project (Project), as authorized by Council Resolution 20-796; and
WHEREAS, the Council, as part of the Project, requires traffic signal equipment systems to be replaced at several roadway intersections along the Project alignment; and
WHEREAS, five of these traffic signal equipment systems needing replacement are owned and maintained by the City, as detailed in Exhibit C; and
WHEREAS, the Parties desire that the City, with funding from the Council provided in this SFA, furnish, manufacture, assemble, test, and inspect these traffic signal equipment systems; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into Subordinate Funding Agreement #8 to the Master Funding Agreement with the Met Council for the Gold Line BRT Project, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the agreement and any amendments to the agreement.
