Title
Appeal of Mark Berhow to a Vacant Building Registration Fee Warning Letter at 251 DAYTON AVENUE.
Date/Time of 1st LH: Nov. 19, 2019 at 2:30 p.m.
Purpose of Appeal: We are working as quickly as possible to continue our restoration of this historic building. Thanks to the $1.2 MM in insurance proceeds received so far, the structure is no longer at risk of collapse and well on its way back to occupancy. Much work remains, and we are seeking additional insurance proceeds and financing now. With resources being limited, the $2,127.00 registration fee is much better spent on the house itself. Thank you.
Date of Order(s) Under Appeal: Oct. 14, 2019
Inspector/Key Staff: Matt Dornfeld
Legislative Hearing Staff Comments: Approval was given by Marcia Moermond to schedule this for Nov. 19th. Mark Berhow is a lawyer and couldn't make the earlier hearing dates.
