Title

Authorizing Parks and Recreation to enter into a lease agreement with District 10 Community Council for office space at the Como Historic Streetcar Station.

Body

WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to enter a lease agreement with District 10 Community Council for the use of the Como Historic Streetcar Station; and

WHEREAS, the lease is for District 10 use of the office space; and

WHEREAS, this includes the use of approximately 400 square feet at the City owned property, 1224 N. Lexington Pkwy.; and

WHEREAS, the terms of the lease agreement will extend from January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation seeks authorization to enter this agreement that will specify a basic monthly rent due to the City, in addition to other detailed terms that are outlined in the agreement; and

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby authorizes Parks and Recreation to enter this lease agreement with District 10 Community Council; and

FINALLY RESOLVED, that District 10 Community Council will abide by the conditions specified in the content of the lease agreement.
