Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Police Department in the amount of $84,592 for the Saint Paul Police Foundation grants approved in RES 14-442 and RES 14-1281.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department was awarded grants in 2014 from the Saint Paul Police Foundation, (RES 14-442 and RES 14-1281); and

WHEREAS, the 2014 financing and spending plan needs to be amended for these awards; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $84,592 in excess of those estimated in the 2014 budget; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to the 2014 budget; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that council approves these changes to the 2014 budget.
