Authorizing the appropriate City officials to execute and record a deed declaration for the Wellstone Center Renovation project.
Body
WHEREAS, Neighborhood House, a Minnesota non-profit organization, received a state capital appropriation for the renovation of the Wellstone Center on property owned by the City of Saint Paul (“City”); and
WHEREAS, Neighborhood House and the City have executed a grant agreement (Agreement SPAP-23-0087-P-FY26) for said funds; and
WHEREAS, a requirement of said grant agreement is the recording of a declaration on the deed of the project property that declares that said property is “bond financed property” for 125% of the useful life of the funded improvement; and
WHEREAS, the recording of the declaration is a responsibility of the City, as stated in the grant agreement; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation desires to record the required declaration to remain in compliance with the grant agreement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper officers are hereby authorized to execute and record a deed declaration for the Wellstone Center Renovation project.
