WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH SAO 26-8 on February 18, 2026 which granted an extension to February 21, 2026 to abate the nuisance conditions (compliance with the sofa, chairs and recliner; grant to May 1, 2026 for planting use of the bathtub) at 708 Hawthorne Avenue East; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on May 5, 2026 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions (planting use of the bathtub) were not abated; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is not abated and therefore authorizes the Department of Safety and Inspections to proceed with this nuisance abatement.
