Purpose of Appeal: I was not informed of the sales review process for a Category 2 vacant building until 1.5 weeks before deadline. Even after obtaining & submitting all required documents before the deadline, the city is charging an extra fee. I tried working & communicating with code enforcement representatives to no avail. No calls, voice mails, emails were returned.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Emiliano Marrero Romero to a Vacant Building Registration Renewal Notice at 593 COOK AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive Vacant Building fee for 60 days to August 15, 2023; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
