Amending Council File RLH AR 24-36 to reduce the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration fees billed during March 29 to November 14, 2023 at 822 VAN BUREN AVENUE. (File No. VB2408, Assessment No. 248807)

 

Body

WHEREAS on June 26, 2024, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 24-36, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration fees billed during March 29 to November 14, 2023. (File No. VB2408, Assessment No. 248807); and

 

WHEREAS, the property at 822 Van Buren Avenue, being described as: Avon Street Addition to the City of Saint Paul Lot 6, with the property identification number 35-29-23-12-0060 was assessed an amount of $5,075; and

 

WHEREAS, Legislative Hearing Officer recommends reducing the assessment from $5,075 to $2,537.50 as the property owner, Thomas Huynh, received the code compliance certificate 6 out of the 12 month billable period; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the reduction of $5,075, plus any accrued interests, be reduced.  Council File No. RLH AR 24-36 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
