Resolution appointing a new treasurer of the Library Board of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota
Body
WHEREAS, under Saint Paul Administrative Code Chapter 14.02, the Library Board is made up of the members of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 14.02 requires the Library Board to choose a chair, secretary and a treasurer; and
WHEREAS, Board Member Bostrom has vacated his position as City Councilmember as of December 31, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Board Member Bostrom was the Treasurer of the Library Board of the City of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, Kasim Busuri has been sworn in as an interim City Council Member, assuming the remainder of Council Member Bostrom’s term, and therefore is also an interim Library Board Member; and
WHEREAS, the Library Board of the City of Saint Paul needs a full slate of officers to preside over meetings and perform other responsibilities on behalf of the board; and now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Library Board of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota that Board Member Kasim Busuri is hereby appointed as Library Board Treasurer
