Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for the East 7th and Arcade Street Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has a project on East Seventh Street (Trunk Highway 5) from Olive Street to East Minnehaha Avenue and on Arcade Street (Trunk Highway 61) from TH 5 to Frost Avenue; and
WHEREAS, MnDOT will perform grading, bituminous milling and surfacing, ADA improvements, signals and lighting as a part of this project; and
WHEREAS, the City has agreed to participate in the cost and furnish materials as outlined in the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City’s maintenance responsibilities are defined in the agreement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into MnDOT Agreement No.1055887 with the State of Minnesota, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and, be it finally
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
