WHEREAS, EMS|MC the paramedic billing company for the Saint Paul Fire Department (SPFD) is hosting the EMSpire Midwest Conference in Milwaukee, WI on September 23-24, 2026; and
WHEREAS, EMS|MC will be paying the lodging expense for interim Deputy Chief Martha Fecht Krause to participate on a panel at the conference; and
WHEREAS, SPFD interim Deputy Chief Martha Fecht Krause will be attending and participating in the conference on behalf of SPFD; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds SPFD's participation in the conference beneficial to the City because it helps SPFD foster relationships with other fire and EMS departments and share best EMS practices; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of the cost of lodging expenses from EMS|MC.
