Making finding on the appealed nuisance abatement ordered for 708 HAWTHORNE AVENUE EAST in Council File RLH SAO 26-8.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH SAO 26-8 on February 18, 2026 which granted an extension to February 21, 2026 to abate the nuisance conditions (compliance with the sofa, chairs and recliner; grant to May 1, 2026 for planting use of the bathtub) at 708 Hawthorne Avenue East; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on February 24, 2026 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions with the February 21, 2026 deadline [were / were not] abated; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is [abated and the matter resolved / not abated and therefore authorizes the Department of Safety and Inspections to proceed with this nuisance abatement].
