Appeal of George Leske, Occupant, to a Fire Inspection Report (which includes vacate) at 1609 SAINT ANTHONY AVENUE, APARTMENT 5.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, April 21, 2026, 1:30 p.m., Room 330 City Hall

Purpose of Appeal:  They are going to close my apartment building down  The owner was dragging his feet to get everything done.  Now he is working hard.  He needs more time to finish.  I don't want to move.  I have been there for 15 years.  I don't know how I would move anyway.  I can't lift over 5 pounds.  I can't walk that far.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of George Leske, Occupant, to a Fire Inspection Report (which includes vacate) at 1609 SAINT ANTHONY AVENUE, APARTMENT 5, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council [recommendation]; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
