Purpose of Appeal: We have owned the property for approx 6 years w/ multiple inspections, and the Class 5 parking space off the alley has never been an issue. Other residents on the same block have Class 5. We would like to have it waived or grandfathered in.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Hanz and Heidi Lehrke to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 1871 STILLWATER AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal with an extension until July 11, 2016 to allow Class 5 gravel for the existing parking surfacing, provided the owner put some sort of separation between parking area and grass areas (clean boundaries); Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
