Authorizing the Police Department to amend the 2026 grant and activity budget in the amount of $25,000 for the 2025 Port Security Grant.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Emergency Management department received authorization to accept the 2025 Port Security Grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (RES PH 25-1925) in the amount of $25,000; and
WHEREAS, the grant provides funding to replace the motor for the Marine 2 vessel; and
WHEREAS, the 2026 grant fund financing and spending plans need to be amended and activity budget reduced for the amended funds; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $25,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2026 budget; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor to approve these changes to the 2026 budget as amended on the attached financial analysis.
