Preliminary Order setting the date of Public Hearing for January 28, 2026, to consider approval of the 2026 Earl Street: Maryland to Minnehaha Street Paving and Lighting Project (Project 19276, Asmt 265201).

In the Matter of approving all necessary work for the 2026 Earl Street from Maryland to Minnehaha paving and lighting project. Proposed Improvements include all new sidewalks, pavement, boulevards, trees, curb, and gutters. Traffic improvements include new lane markings, traffic signals, lighting, and signage. Both public and private utilities will be improved. Public utility improvements include sewer main work, water main replacement and repair, and stormwater management treatments.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul, having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $13,920,000, financed by Common Cent Sales Tax Funding.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 28th day of January 2026, at 3:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
