Approving the reimbursement funds for the Ward 6 Budget Event.

WHEREAS, the Ward 6 budget event is being held on Monday, September 21 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Duluth and Case Recreation Center on 1020 Duluth St, St Paul, MN 55106; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the meeting is to understand budget proposal impact on the recreation closure and hear priorities for Saint Paul neighbors; and
WHEREAS, the expenditure of money for snacks, light refreshments, and related items such as plates, utensils, and napkins, serves a public purpose by fostering community engagement and facilitating discussions among attendees;
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council is authorized to reimburse Councilmember Nelsie Yang or a Ward 6 office staff member up to $400 for the purchase of snacks, refreshments, and related items for the community event.
