Appeal of Amy Kennedy, on behalf of Sandra Kennedy, to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Revocation Notice and Order to Vacate at 998 VIRGINIA STREET.
Date/Time of 1st LH: June 20, 2023, in person at 1:30 p.m.
Purpose of Appeal: 998 Virginia is now owner occupied and homesteaded Sandra Kennedy now resides in her home. It is no longer rental status, so the fire inspection is no longer needed. The house has the property fire alarms and co detectors up and all are working through the residence so we no longer needs a fire inspection due to it's now owner occupied residence.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Amy Kennedy, on behalf of Sandra Kennedy, to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Revocation Notice and Order to Vacate at 998 Virginia Street, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal and release from the Fire Certificate of Occupancy Program and orders to be transferred to Code Enforcement for reinspection; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
