Authorizing the Fire Department to accept the donation of two power load stretchers valued at $46,000 from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation.

WHEREAS, the total cost of the two power load stretchers is $54,000 and the Saint Paul Fire Foundation, a Minnesota non-profit organization, has offered to pay $46,000 towards the cost of the stretchers, and the Saint Paul Fire Department will cover the remaining balance of $8,000; and
WHEREAS, the power load stretchers are necessary safety equipment needed by the paramedics in the department; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council accepts the donation of the two power load stretchers from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation and thanks them for their generous gift.
