Third Making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 939 CHARLES AVENUE in Council File RLH RR 23-37.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 23-37 on August 9, 2023 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 939 Charles Avenue; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on February 13, 2024 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated but will grant additional 180 days, pending posting of as an additional $5,000 performance deposit was posted and approved work plan for completing project approved by no later than close of business, Friday March 8, 2024. If Code Compliance Certificate is not issued or items completed by March 13, forfeit $2,500 of original performance deposit; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is stayed on its finding.
