WHEREAS, Council Resolution 89-2297 establishes the Advisory Committee on Aging and Article V, Section 2 of the bylaws of the Advisory Committee on Aging state that the committee shall consist of fifteen (15) members appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Saint Paul City Council; and
WHEREAS, there are vacancies on the Advisory Committee on Aging; and
WHEREAS, members of the Advisory Committee on Aging reviewed applications and conducted interviews of interested applicants; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee on Aging leadership recommends Laura Trujillo for appointment as committee member of Advisory Committee on Aging; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to appoint Laura Trujillo to the Advisory Committee on Aging for two-year term ending on January 22, 2027; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the mayor’s appointment Laura Trujillo to a two-year term ending January 22, 2027, as a member of the Advisory Committee on Aging.
