Approving adverse action against the Taxicab Vehicle license held by Nasir Alameri d/b/a Blue & White Service Corporation Cab #399 for the City of Saint Paul.

WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Taxicab Vehicle license held by Nasir Alameri d/b/a Blue & White Service Corporation Cab #399 (License ID #20100000748) for the City of Saint Paul by Notice of Intent to Revoke License dated February 22, 2011, alleging licensee canceled his Automobile Liability insurance on December 17, 2010 in violation of Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.06 (g); and
WHEREAS, a DSI Inspector contacted Blue & White Service Corporation to inquire about the status of Cab #399 and was informed that they did not know where the cab was currently located and the licensee had not been answering their calls; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Revoke License to request a public hearing before City Council or an administrative hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Revoke License stated that if the licensee failed to request a public hearing before City Council or an administrative hearing by March 4, 2011, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Taxicab Vehicle license held by Nasir Alameri d/b/a Blue & White Service Corporation Cab #399 is hereby revoked for cancelling his Automobile Liability insurance on December 17, 2010 in violation of Saint Paul Legislative Code §376.06 (g).
