WHEREAS, Ramsey County Public Health has a grant opportunity for the Fire Department to purchase a LUCAS device;
WHEREAS, the LUCAS device is a mechanical chest compression device that provides consistent, high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation during emergency response; and
WHEREAS, the total amount of this grant is $20,000; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, the City Council authorizes the Fire Department to apply for this grant from Ramsey County Public Health.
