Approving the Memorandum of Agreement for 2026 January Wage and Fringe Adjustment between the City and the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union No. 417. (To be laid over one week for adoption)

Whereas, the May 1, 2024 - April 30, 2027 Maintenance Labor Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and the United Plumbers Local 34 and Sprinkler Fitters Local Union No. 417 was approved by the City Council on October 23, 2024 and the Memorandum of Agreement for the January 2025 Wage and Fringe Adjustment for the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union No. 417 was approved by City Council on January 8, 2025 and the Memorandum of Agreement for the June 2025 Wage and Fringe Adjustment was approved by City Council on June 4, 2025, continues in full force and effect through April 30, 2027, and thereafter until modified or amended by mutual agreement of the parties; and
Whereas, the City of Saint Paul and the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union No. 417, reached a tentative Memorandum of Agreement for the 2026 January Wage and Fringe Adjustment, that, once approved, will be effective as of January 1, 2026 (or closest pay period) and thereafter until modified or amended by mutual agreement of the parties; now therefore, be it
Resolved, that the Saint Paul City Council, pursuant to the Saint Paul City Charter Section 6.03.3(5), hereby approves and ratifies the attached Memorandum of Agreement for the 2026 January Wage and Fringe Adjustment between the City of Saint Paul and the Sprinkler Fitters Local Union No. 417.
